Boomers Today is our weekly podcast that helps educate families on resources available to the aging boomer population. Frank Samson, founder and CEO of Senior Care Authority®, interviews a different expert on aspects of what families face as the Boomers and their parents are aging. Subjects range from caregiver challenges, to legal matters, to financial considerations, to health and wellness topics and self-care.
Jodi Glacer is the local owner of Senior Care Authority, a Senior Placement and Elder Care Consulting Agency in South Florida. She is a Certified Senior Advisor and Certified Dementia Practitioner who is dedicated to helping local seniors. With her experience and knowledge of the Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care options available in North Broward and Palm Beach Counties, Jodi has consulted and mentored with families and assessing their needs. She assists them through the process of selecting the best community or residential care home based on the family’s requirements, and supports them in making the best, and most informed decisions.

Patricia Daiker is a registered nurse, board certified nurse coach specializing in Diabetes Burnout and author of the online eCourse "Better Diabetes Life". She has been an RN for 35 years, practicing bedside at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas for 15 years - Primarily in the Emergency Department and credentialed as a Certified Emergency Nurse. She currently is the CEO and founder of Better Diabetes Life, a company whose mission is to deliver support and services to people with diabetes and other chronic illnesses who are experiencing the psychosocial burden, we know as "burnout".
Erin Dwyer owns and operates Senior Care Authority in St. Louis, Missouri, is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and a Beyond Driving With Dignity professional. Erin has always had a career in the helping professions, spending 17 years working with children and adults as a speech-language therapist in private practice, school systems, and outpatient clinical settings in the St. Louis area. She has experience with treating clients who have had strokes, traumatic brain injuries, swallowing disorders, & aphasia, among many others.
Bill Vicary is the founder/ president of Vicary Management Group, LLC (VMG) in Greenville, SC. He created Just Call Bill, Technology Service Provider to Senior Adults in 2017. He has developed classes & programs to teach seniors on how to use technology to become better connected to their family and friends. In addition to his programs, Just Call Bill also provides technology move-in and IT services to seniors in their homes. His passion is to connect family and friends by utilizing technology.
